Crowns

Restore function

Restore a tooth’s shape, appearance and function.

A crown is a hollow, artificial tooth used to cover a damaged tooth, thereby restoring its function and protecting it from further damage.

How is a crown applied?

Our dentist will remove decay, shape the tooth, take an impression, and fit the tooth with a temporary crown. The impression is used to create a custom crown. At a second appointment, the custom crown is cemented into place. In some cases, additional care may be required.

Crowns can be made from different materials, including porcelain, zirconia, gold and composite resin.

Crowns are an excellent solution for various dental problems caused by disease, accidents, or wear and tear. They are inconspicuous, strong and long lasting, allowing patients to restore their smile and functional bite.
